JAKE DECKARD IS OUR NAKEDSWORDSMAN OF 2007!

It's no longer breaking news that Jake Deckard has been dubbed our 2007 Swordsman of the Year. Unfortunately due to technical problems I couldn't post about it until now!

However, belated entry doesn't take away from the fact that we're overjoyed at NakedSword about our decision. In addition to becoming NakedSwordsman 2007, you've been named Raging Stallion's Man of the Year and are nominated for a GayVN Award for Performer of the Year. Is there a lot of pressure?
I'd like to think I'm giving 100 percent regardless of what they call me. No pressure -- I love it -- and when the party's over, it's over.


You like to watch porn. What was your favorite scene from the past year (that you weren't in)?

You talk about loving porn from an early age, so you must have realized you were gay. How old were you when you started wanting guys?

When I was 5, I tried to sneak a peek of my uncle taking a shower through the crack under the bathroom door. He looked like Harrison Ford back then. Now he's a born-again Christian -- not so hot.





Are you single or taken?

Very much taken in the love department.

What do you typically look for in a partner?

A good time.

That I act like a misanthrope sometimes, but I'm really just a sentimental old fool.





You're nominated for two GayVNs this year. What are you going to wear? Sister Roma will be on the red carpet and she takes no prisoners.

A tux. It's gonna be at a classy joint this year, I don't want to stink the place up.





Speaking of Sister Roma, if you were to take Sister Roma on a dream date, what might she look forward to?

A night on the town in the Castro with a cargo van and a rifle, hunting for porn stars!





You spend more than a little time at the gym. What do put on your iPod to tune out the gawkers?

I've got everything from Styx and Pat Benatar to Peaches and Madonna. My mood swings around when I'm working out. I am usually just trying to dampen the voices in my own head.





You've only been making porn for a few years. Has your outlook on sex changed since you've been in the business?

I think it's changed more with my age. I used to be uneasy with the idea that people are still animals, and that I was indeed having butt-sex. Now the more primal the sex feels and looks to me, the better. There's just nothing like seeing long, greasy hair around your cock when you are fucking ass.





You recently moved to San Francisco from New York. How are you adjusting?

The weather is better, and there are less people. They all know each other here, so you can't fart without everyone hearing about it. I'd like very much to be able to occupy both cities, and I think that will happen.





How would you like to see the adult industry change? Is there any direction you'd like to see gay porn take in the next year or two?

Porn has become main stream enough that there is a larger audience and more guys willing to get in front of the camera than there has been since the early 80's. I'd like to see rugged type guys become more of a standard.





Obviously NakedSword has big plans for you, but what else should we be looking out for this year?

I've got a couple of big releases coming up, Mirage which is the sequel to Arabesque. Then you'll be seeing me climb behind the camera. I'm hoping that I can bring some of my own smutty thoughts to the masses. I'm also looking forward to doing some club dates, and seeing all you horny fuckers in person!





Finally, on your website you warn people to never disturb you while you're eating dessert. Which dessert in particular gets you going?
