AmaZN GayVNs!

Michael Lucas and La Dolce Vita non-sexual performance winner Savannah Samson.

If you think Jennifer Hudson had a good weekend, you haven't talked to Tim and Roma!

The GayVN Awards were a complete party. Our little V.I.P. bar proved to be quite popular during any dull moments (the pre-made cosmos might has well have been mainlined), Kathy Griffin turned us into sheer believers, and Michael Lucas, amid controversial industry reactions, actually held it together during his acceptance speeches.

François Sagat, our #1 crush was a shoe-in for Performer of the Year, and the Genesis afterparty was as mythic as the title implies! Everybody-who's-anybody in the industry was in attendance, and we couldn't have done it without all the help from our sponsors. Thanks, gays!

The GAYVN awards, if the gay porn industry didn’t give itself awards no one else would. Kathy Griffin is great but who wants to spend $100+ to see a bunch of steroid puffy queens kiss Chi Chi La Rue’s fat ass? (Yet again) Or see Michael Brandon’s over exposed self.

The producers make millions off overpriced dismal product while chewing up and spitting out performers who make very little with no residuals.

Gay porn has no eroticism left in it; it’s all circus tricks with whips dildos and fists. One studios product could easily be interchanged with another. Mechanical viagra tops with bottoms that look like they’d rather be shopping for Prada.

I was so pleased to see Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita win all of the awards it was nominated for. It's a great production, and Michael and his models are all so fucking hot!

Garrett please, I wasn't trashing him and it's nothing personal. I told the truth, he posted that exact comment on Towleroad and my guess is that he did the exact same thing on a bunch of other gay blogs too that were reporting on the Gayvns! So what? If anyone here is trashing anyone or anything, it's ggreen, so why aren't you criticizing him for being "foolish and wrong headed"? What exactly are the valid points he made? I'd like to know since he probably has never been to any Gayvn awards show in the first place.

And for him to make such a rude comment like this - "to see a bunch of steroid puffy queens kiss Chi Chi La Rue’s fat ass?" I mean really, who is really making the personal attacks here? Certainly not me.
