AmaZN GayVNs!
If you think Jennifer Hudson had a good weekend, you haven't talked to Tim and Roma!
The GayVN Awards were a complete party. Our little V.I.P. bar proved to be quite popular during any dull moments (the pre-made cosmos might has well have been mainlined), Kathy Griffin turned us into sheer believers, and Michael Lucas, amid controversial industry reactions, actually held it together during his acceptance speeches.
François Sagat, our #1 crush was a shoe-in for Performer of the Year, and the Genesis afterparty was as mythic as the title implies! Everybody-who's-anybody in the industry was in attendance, and we couldn't have done it without all the help from our sponsors. Thanks, gays!

See You At The GAYVN AWARDS!
NakedSword is honored to be hosting the afterparty for this Saturday's GAYVN AWARDS, the top award show in the gay porn industry! Entitled Genesis, this "event of biblical proportions" will be the celebration to cap off another fabulous year in gay adult entertainment. We've got DJs Paul Goodyear (direct from Australia!), Val Scinto, and the legendary Chi Chi LaRue.
You may have heard Roma and the aforementioned diva on Energy 92.7 FM's morning show today giving away free tickets, in fact. It was a hilarious program and we owe a big thank-you to Energy for inviting Roma to be on the show!

Last week, Tim flew down to Los Angeles to attend the X-Biz Awards and came back a winner! NakedSword is proud to be the first gay company to win the award for Best VOD Site at the awards.

The awards were held at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California at the conclusion of the Xbiz Hollywood Conference.“This is a phenomenal honor,” said Tim Valenti, President and CEO of NakedSword.com. “We worked hard this year to show the strength of our brand and our product to both the industry and consumers. In the past few months, NakedSword.com has grabbed more than its share of headlines. First, in November of 2006 NakedSword signed Falcon Entertainment, one of the strongest brands and largest companies in the gay industry to an exclusive contract, sparking a series of content grabs with rivals. The company’s January merger with former rival AEBN helped make it the largest gay video-on-demand provider in the world. Later that month, negotiations at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Vegas helped secure COLT Studio Group as another exclusive, but Valenti promises more to come.

Clash of the Pretty Faces
Just released on NakedSword comes Chris Ward's 100th film, MANIFESTO. Co-directed by our favorite new director Ben Leon, the latest Raging Stallion opus contains over nine scenes and clocks in at almost four hours. I've got everything from Styx and Pat Benatar to Peaches and Madonna. My mood swings around when I'm working out. I am usually just trying to dampen the voices in my own head.
You've only been making porn for a few years. Has your outlook on sex changed since you've been in the business?I think it's changed more with my age. I used to be uneasy with the idea that people are still animals, and that I was indeed having butt-sex. Now the more primal the sex feels and looks to me, the better. There's just nothing like seeing long, greasy hair around your cock when you are fucking ass.
You recently moved to San Francisco from New York. How are you adjusting?
The weather is better, and there are less people. They all know each other here, so you can't fart without everyone hearing about it. I'd like very much to be able to occupy both cities, and I think that will happen.
How would you like to see the adult industry change? Is there any direction you'd like to see gay porn take in the next year or two?
Porn has become main stream enough that there is a larger audience and more guys willing to get in front of the camera than there has been since the early 80's. I'd like to see rugged type guys become more of a standard.
Obviously NakedSword has big plans for you, but what else should we be looking out for this year?I've got a couple of big releases coming up, Mirage which is the sequel to Arabesque. Then you'll be seeing me climb behind the camera. I'm hoping that I can bring some of my own smutty thoughts to the masses.
