La Dolce Premiere!

If you're anybody who knows anybody, or anybody know knows anything, or anybody who knows anybody who knows anything, or anyone who knows anyone who knows everything about anybody, then you know that tonight is the Marc Jacobs holiday party in Manhattan. The party is themed after Versailles in the wake of Marie Antoinette-mania in the fashion world this year, with powdered wigs et all. Couldn't you just imagine Mr. Lucas in his own set of tights, slapping men across the face with a loose, white glove?

Well if you're reading this entry it means you're already too late to get in. In the meantime, you'll have to settle for reading about Michael Lucas's glitzy premiere last night, for his new epic La Dolce Vita, a sexed-up remake of the 1960 classic by Fellini.

According to GayVN.com:

Guests, who were treated to a gift bag brimming with MAC cosmetics, Marc Jacobs perfume, and the Dolce Vita DVD, included cast members of the indie hit Shortbus, cameo-scene stealers Amanda Lepore and Village People's Randy Jones, and designer Jacobs himself (who lent his store for a shopping scene).

After the appreciative crowd hooted and hollered its way through the screening, Big Brother 3’s Will Wikle hosted the Q&A, during which Lucas revealed with a laugh that he had prepared for the emotional demands of his leading role by swearing off Botox.

I can't believe some people accuse him of not being a serious performer and director! It makes me sick inside.
